Love Story
In the enchanting month of November 2020, fate intervened and brought our souls together through the divine realm of an online Bible study known as the Emmaus Journey. Little did we know that this would be the start of a love story that transcended time and space.
As the seasons danced their way towards September 2021, our connection deepened, like two celestial bodies drawn inexorably closer. Though we were mere strangers, destiny orchestrated our first meeting, an offline rendezvous that would forever change our lives. It was a balmy Thursday afternoon when our paths intertwined on the badminton court, and in that moment, the universe held its breath, sensing the profound significance of our encounter.
With each passing day, the tapestry of our love grew richer and more vibrant, as if painted by the brushstrokes of destiny itself. Time became a whimsical companion, teasing us with its fleeting nature. Yet, within its swift currents, our bond flourished, defying all odds. We laughed, we cried, and we shared our deepest dreams, weaving an unbreakable thread that bound our souls together.
And then as the dawn of new year, January 2023 bathed the world in a golden glow, a moment of pure magic unfolded. On the sacred day of the 2nd of January, brunch time, in the car, he adorned with nervous anticipation, took my trembling hand and gazed into my eyes, filled with a love that transcended words. And then, in a moment that felt like time stood still, he reached into his dashboard and presented a small red velvet box.
Opening it revealed a delicate yet exquisite ring that sparkled like the stars above. With a catch in his voice, he asked the question that would forever change our destiny: “Will you marry me?” he whispered, his voice carrying the weight of a thousand promises.
Tears of joy cascaded down my cheeks as I nodded, my heart bursting with an overwhelming surge of emotions. The universe itself seemed to celebrate our union, showering us with a symphony of twinkling stars and a gentle breeze carrying the sweet scent of blossoming love. As we held each other, wrapped in the warmth of their love, they knew that this car, which had witnessed the journey of their hearts, would forever remain a symbol of their enduring love story.
Our love story, more romantic and dramatic than any fairy tale, continues to unfold with each passing day. Bound by an eternal love, we journey hand in hand, facing life’s trials and triumphs together, knowing that our love story will forever be etched in the annals of time.
