Our Story
OUR FIRST ENCOUNTER
We first met each other, back in July 2014 on our Church Retreat. Our friendship develops after several Church events, and we began to talk and share deeper about our lives’ values throughout the months. In December, we proceed to have our first date which was during Christmas Eve on the same year.
MILES APART
Fast forward, we started our long-distance relationship for 4 years. Long distance was never been easy for us, but it has been a humbling and valuable experience.
It does teach us patience, faithfulness, trust, and persistence on prioritising one another over ourselves.
FROM GOD AND FOR GOD
What we love about this relationship is, out of our imperfections, God grows our relationship closer to Him each time. Supporting one another to love God even more and seeing God’s love through our relationship.
On June 17, 2023, we decided to move onto the next chapter of our lives. The most exciting journey, to be together. THE PROPOSAL DAY!
AFTER A DECADE
2024: For us, standing here today, proudly exclaims “he/she is my fiancĂ©” was a rough and undescribable journey. But we both agree, if we must, we will choose each other over againđ„ș
Philippians 1:3-6 Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart…There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
