Our journey had its first whisper on June 30, 2022—a day that began with a simple inquiry about a piano in a Singapore friends group and Steve’s warm reply. Though that initial exchange was brief, fate was quietly orchestrating the rest of our story.
By December 29, 2022, I had just finished reading The Sacred Search, a book that resonated deeply with my soul. The very next day, on December 30, 2022, destiny intervened when our paths truly crossed at a fun-filled karaoke session in Singapore. That night, despite my uncertainty, my friends insisted that I should be with him.
January 1, 2023—in a twist of spontaneity—we embarked on our first date, sharing the thrill of a slingshot ride at Clarke Quay. Two days later, on January 3, we deepened our bond with a serene sunrise hike at MacRitchie Reservoir. By January 5, I was about to leave Singapore, even though he was unsure whether he’d be in Jakarta or Singapore, Steve asked if we could still see each other.
By January 23, 2023, we officially became a couple, marking the beginning of our journey together—a journey beautifully woven by an invisible author. Along the way, confirmations, prayers, and Steve’s heartfelt promise that “we will go through things together, and I will try to love you better” became the pillars of our commitment. He doesn’t just say it; he proves it every single day.
Our adventure continued on June 12, 2024, when Steve proposed to me at the breathtaking Lake Naivasha in Kenya.
By December 7, 2024, as Steve’s parents celebrated their 33rd anniversary, our families came together to celebrate our engagement. Now, with hearts full of love, we invite you to join us as we conclude our sacred search and embark on a new chapter together.
Thank you so much for celebrating our wedding with us. It will be the most wonderful day of our life and won’t be the same without you! Our joy will be completed with your presence and blessing.
With Love,
